About Us

Chai for Charity is a gathering that connects private donors to local nonprofits who are working to advance, support & empower the underserved in our community. Our inaugural event gathered 70+ women who collectively raised $8,000 to support pregnant women in need, expand sexual and reproductive health services to those that need them, and ignite an interest in STEM for young girls.  100% of donations go directly to nonprofits thanks to generous local sponsors who provide venue, supplies and catering. Since founding 9 months ago, we’ve delivered Chai’s in 5 locations across North America, and will expand to an additional 5 locations (including 1 international!) within the next 6 months.

Perks

Given that Chai is a non-earning nonprofit (as in, we're a nonprofit with no profit, no budget, no cash to fund employees), the pay rate is modest (volunteer-based!), but the experience and perks are immeasurable!  You’ll be working with one of Google’s top Program Managers who will teach you everything she knows about everything she knows. Natasha (founder of Chai for Charity) manages Executive Development Programs for Google, founded and leads the women@Google effort in Colorado, and recently founded Chai for Charity.  You’ll also work with 2 exceptional volunteer staff members who 1) manage guest, nonprofit and sponsor engagement, and 2) deliver on our strategy and operational goals.
