Meet Chai for Charity

Chai's mission is to inspire people to give in creative ways. Our belief is that everyone has something to give, regardless of where they are in life (20yo-me had no money, but lots of time; 40yo-me has no time, but some money). We work with hosts (like Emily & Morgan, below) to gather their community to learn about, and invest in, local causes that matter to them. - Natasha, Founder of Chai for Charity

Meet your hosts: Emily Sanders & Morgan Heine

Morgan and Emily are colleagues at ZIM Consulting where they work to build better nonprofits for a better world, and became fast friends over their shared love of philanthropy and making the world a better place. Morgan received her Master’s in Public Health and has been a Grant Writer for a number of nonprofits, including one of our featured nonprofits, Home Builders Foundation. Emily has worked with and volunteered for nonprofits throughout her life and is currently the Board Chair for The Reciprocity Collective and Grant Writer for A Little Help, two of our featured nonprofits.

Morgan and Emily came together to host a Chai to highlight causes that are both important to them and reflect and engage the Denver community. Morgan and Emily have been working alongside these organizations throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and want to share the important work these nonprofits have been doing to support the Denver community in staying safe and well. Morgan and Emily are committed to advancing social impact and equity in the Denver metro community and beyond, and invite you to join them in learning about these amazing nonprofits. Meet our nonprofits

Join us for a Google Hangout on July 13th @ 5:00-6:15pm MT to learn about the extraordinary work of 3 small, local nonprofits: Home Builders Foundation builds independence, provides opportunities and elevates lives for individuals and families with disabilities in our community, A Little Help connects neighbors to help older adults thrive, and The Reciprocity Collective connects businesses & nonprofits to guide individuals from communities of Poverty and Homelessness to stability and success.

Invest in their efforts by giving your money, goods, time and/or talent on their wishlists.
