How much does it cost to participate? Most events are free thanks to donors who invest in inclusive giving opportunities for all!

Where are the events? Most events are at the Lafayette, CO public library unless otherwise noted. The library has a spacious parking lot and clear signage to direct you to our events.

Is there a minimum age to participate? Donors as young as 18mo have been able to participate in Chai events. Most activities involve placing items in sandwich bags and then sealing them with the help of a grownup.

What should I expect from the event? We setup an assembly line with a different item at each station (i.e. pretzels, juice, granola bar stations), and you take an empty sandwich bag to each station, add an item and continue down the line until your bag is full.

Can I bring a friend who hasn't RSVP'd? Unfortunately, no. There is an occupancy limit at the library’s space, and we want to honor our commitment to them. We also have a limited amount of supplies earmarked for those who RSVP.
